Tummy Time

1 Month Update

Finley had her 1 month check-up last Friday (Feb 20th). She weighed 11 lbs 8 oz and was 23 inches long. She is above the 95th percentile in both categories. She is eating about 5-6 oz at each feeding and is pretty much sleeping through the night. She has been sleeping really good for a while and I can only remember 3 nights that she got up more than 1 time. Usually we try to put her to bed around 8 or 9 and she sleeps until 2 and then wakes up again at 5:30 or 6. If she wakes up laster Brad is able to feed her and spend some time with her before he goes to work. Last night she slept 8 straight hours. We put her down at 9 and she woke up to eat at 5. She is still in the bassinet in our room. I am just not ready for her to leave us for her big girl bed. :-)

We had our first mother/daughter shopping trip today. We went downtown and got some new outfits for her and then to Hallmark to get Brad a birthday card (he turns 31 tomorrow). She did so good!! She is the sweetest thing and growing so fast.

Valentine's Day

Here are some pictures from Valentine's Day this weekend. Mama, Pat and Granny came down to babysit so Brad and I could go out to dinner for Valentine's Day. Brad gave me a card with a picture of a Coach purse for me to pick out for my present and some beautiful tulips. Before dinner we went to St. John's Town Center to shop. I didn't find the purse I want yet so we just looked around. For dinner we went to Matthews in San Marco. We had a bottle of Cabernet and a full four course meal. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. For our main course we each got tenderloin and it was fabulous. Finley did great while we were gone! I was nervous about leaving her because late afternoon is usually her fussy period but wouldn't you know it, she slept the whole time. In fact, she didn't wake up until we called to say we were on our way home...little booger!
