Finley Caroline Morris is here and she is AMAZING!
Hello Everyone!! I just wanted to send an update of our precious baby girl. She is the absolute most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life. I can't get enough of her.My doctor let us come home Thursday morning because I was doing good and ready to go. The first night home Finley did great...I was the bad one...I didn't realize how much of a spaz I would be about laying her down to sleep. I kept thinking that the blanket was going to wrap over her face or she would throw up or something...Brad stayed up in the living room to just watch her. He made it until about 2:30 then I got up to feed her and again at 5:30. She would have been fine if we would have just left her alone. Last night she went to sleep at 11:30 and didn't wake up again until 3 and then I fed her, put her back down and she didn't make a peep again until 7 so really she only woke up once. I am sure that will change and we will have many long nights ahead but we were proud. :-) She is so strong and picking her head up and looking around and she LOVES her daddy. All he has to do is talk to her and she just stares at him like she can't get enough. And if she is crying and he says something she immediately stops which is very helpful during diaper changes and between feedings. I am still really sore from the c-section and its hard to get around and up and out of bed. My feet and ankles are so swollen that my toes look like vienna sausages but its getting better. The doctor confined me to the couch with my feet propped up for the day. The whole thing seems so surreal...I can't believe we made something so perfect and already can't imagine life without her. More updates to come!

Still Waiting...
So its the 13th...2 days after Finley's official due date and we are still waiting. I went to the doctor yesterday and I am dialated 1 cm and 50% effaced. Cynthia asked how I have been feeling and I have been fine. I did mention that Finley's movements had slowed down (I thought that was a sign she was ready to come out) but Cynthia said she wanted to send me for a NST (non stress test) just to make sure everything was ok. Brad and I went over to the hospital right after my appointment and they monitored me for about an hour and a half. They wanted to see two big increases in activity before sending me home. Everything was fine and so if something doesn't happen this week, I am scheduled to be induced Tuesday morning at 6am. I am REALLY hoping that Finley comes on before then!!!

Happy New Year!!
Well, we thought we might have a baby by the new year but she proved us wrong. We had a great Christmas and New Year...and now that all that excitement is over, we just get to sit back and wait on Ms. Finley. Brad's parents came and stayed with us the Thursday before Christmas, my mama, Pat, Amy and Scuba came the next day and stayed until Sunday and then my daddy, Vonda, Connor, Amy and Scuba came Christmas day and stayed until Saturday. It was very nice not having to travel for Christmas and still getting to see everyone. Last night for New Years Eve, Brad and I went to eat sushi and went to Wal-Mart to get a few things. We ended up getting a Wii. We came home hooked it up and played for hours. About 11:45 I started feeling sick and ended up throwing up. I have been doing that lately. Last Saturday night I went to the hospital because I threw up blood after dinner. Apparently its all normal just very scary. :-(
Here are some pictures I wanted to share of Baxter and Connor. Connor loved Baxter and did not want to leave him alone the whole time he was here...of course Baxter loved the attention. The other picture is another one of Millie (the neighbor).

Merry Christmas!!
Brad and I celebrated our last Christmas before we become parents last night. We opened presents and watched a movie. He got me a Nikon Coolpix camera, memory card and a wicker clothes hamper that I have been wanting. I got him a Waterpik, Sonicare toothbrush and a pellet gun. It was a special Christmas (and a little emotional) knowing it the last one with just us. Today we got up, made waffles and bacon and went to see Marley and Me. It was the best and worst movie I have ever seen. We were both crying like babies during the last half and most of the way home. I had to share a picture of our sweet Baxter with his duck (his favorite toy). He's all I could think about during the whole movie.
